Job Description
Luqra is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative – Payment Processing to drive new business acquisition and expand our presence in the B2B payments industry. This role requires a proactive sales professional with a strong understanding of payment processing and merchant services. The ideal candidate will be skilled at identifying client pain points, presenting tailored solutions, and closing deals that drive revenue growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities within target industries that require payment processing solutions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through outbound sales efforts, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct consultative sales presentations, demonstrating the value and competitive advantages of Luqra’s payment solutions.
- Develop customized proposals and negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, risk, and customer support, to ensure seamless client onboarding.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to position Luqra as a market leader.
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools.
- Meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics through strategic and disciplined selling techniques.
- Represent Luqra at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen brand awareness.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payment processing, fintech, merchant services, or financial technology.
- Strong understanding of credit card processing, payment gateways, and interchange pricing models.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored payment solutions that drive business growth.
- Self-driven with a hunter mentality and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage sales pipelines and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
